January 29, 2013: Support Senate Bills to End Gun Violence

In the past month two important pieces of legislation relating to gun violence prevention have been introduced in the Senate. Senator Dianne Feinstein introduced S. 150, which would end open access to military-style assault weapons and high capacity magazines. Senator Frank Lautenberg introduced The Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act of 2013 (S. 33), which would ban high-capacity ammunition magazines holding more than ten rounds.

Please write your Senators and ask them to co-sponsor these two important bills. It is incredibly important that both of these bills receive broad support in the Senate and that the process for a comprehensive approach to gun violence prevention move forward.
