Ask Chancellor White to Take Action

San Francisco Hillel students just issued a letter on May 10 to President Wong following their meeting with him. The letter expressed disappointment about his failure to acknowledge discrimination against Jewish students and his continued lack of understanding about Zionism. He told the students that Zionists are people who believe in the “right to be a Jew.” In his interview earlier with the J Weekly he refused to say he would welcome them to campus. Please ask California State University Chancellor Dr. Timothy P. White to take immediate action to ensure the that SF State lives up to its stated values of Courage, the Life of the Mind, Equity, Community and Resilience.

You are invited to personalize this letter, but we advise decorum: Please, no profanity or insulting language, and don't write in all caps. We are asking for civility on campus and must lead by example. This is the most effective way to champion the change we seek.
