POLICY

JCPA Urges White House to Defend DACA and Protect Dreamers – President Trump has indicated that the Administration may terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in the coming days, placing nearly 800,000 people at risk of deportation and separation from their families. JCPA strongly supports DACA and opposes any efforts to defund or terminate this important program. Click here to read the full statement.

JCPA Opposes Ban on Transgender Military Service – JCPA has worked to extend and expand civil rights protections, such as those based on an individual’s real or perceived gender identity. Reinstating the ban on transgender individuals serving in our armed forces is a step backward in that fight. Click here to read the full statement.

JCPA's Leadership in Combating White Supremacy and Hate JCPA has been at the forefront in opposing racism, bigotry, and xenophobia for decades. Following recent events related to Charlottesville, JCPA’s has been leading its network to ensure that the Jewish community is safe physically and connected politically by standing in solidarity with other targeted groups to counter hate.
