The JCPA Welcomes Prime Minister Netanyahu's Clarification on the Two-State Solution
The Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) welcomes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement clarifying his previous comments on the possibility of a two-state solution.
“We are pleased that the Prime Minister has taken this positive step towards peace by stating the fundamental reality that the only viable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is through a two-state solution,” said Rabbi Steve Gutow, President of the JCPA.
“The two-state solution has been the accepted formula for a fair and just resolution to this conflict. The Prime Minister has clarified his comments, hopefully we can continue to move the peace process forward,” said Susan W. Turnbull, Chair of the JCPA.
JCPA, the public affairs arm of the organized Jewish community, serves as the national coordinating and advisory body for the 17 national and 125 local agencies comprising the field of Jewish community relations.
