National Call-in Days on Healthcare Reform

Background:

As millions of Americans already know, health care reform is urgent and cannot wait another day. The House and the Senate have drafted legislation and committees in each chamber are working hard to finalize their bills. This is the time when members of Congress will make their decisions about the legislation. Congress must act now but they will only do so if they hear from their constituents.

Organizations and communities across the country have designated today and tomorrow (July 7th and 8th) as National Call-In Days on health reform. 
 
Call 866-210-3678 and tell your Members of Congress that quality, affordable coverage should be available to all Americans. Help us flood the switchboards at the Capitol with calls demanding passage of health care reform. Urge your community partners and coalitions to call in using 1-866-210-3678.  Feel free to use JCPA and UJC's common principles for healthcare reform.

Action Needed:
Call your members of Congress today and tomorrow and let them know that we must pass healthcare reform this year that provides quality, affordable coverage to all.
