Israel is facing a number of security concerns after a terrorist attack that killed 8 last week and a resumption of rocket fire from Gaza. The terrorists responsible for the attack are thought to have come from Gaza through Egyptian controlled Sinai. Since the end of the Mubarak government, Egypt has eased security along its border with Gaza. In a statement condemning the attacks and expressing condolences for the victims, the JCPA called on Egypt to do more to ensure that the Sinai does not continue to be a launching ground for terrorist attacks against Israel.
