Hunger Seder 2012

Using one of the most evocative lines from the traditional Passover Seder – “Let all who are hungry come and eat” – the Jewish Council for Public Affairs has re-contextualized the historical message of redemption from slavery with the modern struggle faced by hungry people across our country by creating the Hunger Seder mobilization. JCPA hunger-related Passover programs are a proven success – Since 2009 Seders, co-sponsored by MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, and related advocacy helped secure the passage of the Child Nutrition Act in November 2010.
